FDCAQ Office

The Family Day Care Association of Queensland Office staff have a long history of supporting and resourcing the family day care community within Queensland.  Today the Office is situated on the corner of Stanley Street East and Birubi Street at Coorparoo. The office is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Visitors are always welcome.

Introducing the FDCAQ Office

Executive Manager: Peta McNellie 
 
Peta works closely with the Family Day Care Association (FDCAQ) Management Committee, ensuring consistent and effective strategic management. The Executive Manager provides staff with operational management and leadership that underpins the Association’s strategic direction and ensures services provided are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the FDCAQ, along with representation of our membership, promoting and informing outcomes for children within the family day care setting.


 Administration Team



Administration Support Officer- Emma Wraight

Emma provides administrative support to the Executive Manager and Operations Manager. Emma is responsible for all the receptionist duties for FDCAQ including first point of contact, correspondence and coordinating organisational events, travel, venue hire and catering.

 

 

 




Administration Support Officer- Amanda Gordon

Amanda is responsible for all the administration duties for FDCTA.



 

 

 

  Finance Team

Finance Manager  - Raj Singh

Raj is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all financial activities to resource and support the operations of the FDCAQ programs in accordance with the FDCAQ vision, purpose and values. Raj ensures that all financial core business functions are effectively implemented and delivered to “best practice” Australian accounting standards



 

Payroll Officer - Denise Marshall 

Denise is responsible for payment of all staff in line with industrial relations laws and accounting principles. Denise supports the financial and administration tasks of the Finance Team, including payment of Child Care Benefit to Educators of FDCAQ Approved Services.

 



 

Accounts Receivable Officer - Karen Will 

Karen is responsible for the invoicing and receipting of payments and bank reconciliation. Karen supports the financial and administration tasks of the Finance Team, including other end of the month financial tasks.

Operations Manager - Jeannine Galea 

Jeannine provides strategic and operational support, management and leadership of FDCAQ approved education and care and supports services to ensure all services provide high quality level environments  to children and families. Plan, organise, lead and control an efficient and effective business focus that improves operational efficiency and contributes to the achievement of FDCAQ strategic objectives. 






 Regional Manager -Tracy Robinson

Tracy works closely with FDCAQ Family Day Care, Inhome Care and Outside School Age Care Services in the Rockhampton region, along with Family Day Care in the Kingaroy, Gayndah, Brisbane and Childers regions. Tracy is responsible for the operational support, management, mentoring and leadership of our teams in the services to provide a high quality level of service to children and families. 

 

 

Family Day Care Training Australia - FDCTA 

FDCTA Manager - Kym Groth  

Kym is responsible for the leadership, business development and service delivery of Family Day Care Training Australia. The FDCTA Manager provides operational management and support to the training team in their provision of Professional Development and Accredited Training (Certificate III, Diploma and Advance Diploma Courses in Children's Services).The position plays a key role in developing the culture and capability of future accredited training and professional development to meet the needs of the education and care professional into the future.




FDCTA Training Facilitator/Assessor - Helen Moorhouse 

Helen is responsible for the design, development and delivery of learning and professional development activities across accredited and non accredited training inclusive of resource materials, session plan, evaluation and reflective practice processes. Key to this role is the delivery of flexible learning and professional development opportunities (online and face-to-face) which meets the needs of a diverse education and care learning community.








FDCTA Training Facilitator/Assessor - Mary Yaxley

Mary is responsible for the design, development and delivery of learning and professional development activities across accredited and non accredited training inclusive of resource materials, session plan, evaluation and reflective practice processes. Key to this role is the delivery of flexible learning and professional development opportunities (online and face-to-face) which meets the needs of a diverse education and care learning community.
